If you’re planning to study in the UK in September 2026, this is the second instalment of our deep dive into the biggest, most generous and most competitive scholarships available to international students (see part one here). In this edition, we’re covering universities from H to R, including some of the UK’s most prestigious names such as Imperial College London, King’s College London, LSE, Newcastle, Queen Mary, Queen’s Belfast, Loughborough, and more.

This list includes fully funded scholarships, 50 percent tuition awards, regional scholarships, merit awards, and subject‑specific funding across both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Undergraduate Scholarships

Hartpury University

Hartpury offers a mix of automatic and application‑based awards, including the Vice‑Chancellor’s International Scholarship (£3,000) and the Trailblazer Scholarship (50 percent tuition fees). Regional awards of £2,000 are also available.

Heriot‑Watt University

The International Merit Scholarship is available, though award amounts are not specified. It applies across multiple subject areas.

Imperial College London

One of the strongest scholarship portfolios in the UK. Highlights include:

  • Business School Excellence Award – 50 percent tuition fees

  • Ceres Scholarship – up to £15,000

  • International Baccalaureate Excellence Scholarships – up to £15,000

These are automatic for eligible students.

Keele University

Keele offers several automatic awards, including:

  • Undergraduate Global Scholarship – up to £9,000

  • Advanced Entry Scholarship – up to £5,000

  • IB Global Scholarship – £1,000

Kingston University

International students can apply for merit‑based scholarships (£5,000), while several business, computing and aviation programmes offer automatic support awards up to £7,500.

Lancaster University

A strong suite of regional and merit awards:

  • International Regional Scholarship – up to £9,000

  • India Scholarship – up to £9,000

  • Excellence Scholarship – up to £9,000 for A*AA achievers.

Leeds Arts University

Automatic awards include the International Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship (£2,000) and a 5 percent early payment discount.

Leeds Beckett University

International students benefit from automatic awards such as:

  • International Student Scholarship – up to £3,000

  • Leeds Law School Scholarship – up to £17,250

Leeds Trinity University

A £2,000 automatic scholarship is available for international students in Nursing.

Liverpool Hope University

Automatic awards include the Hope Inspiring Futures Scholarship (£2,000) and a £500 early payment discount.

Liverpool John Moores University

Generous automatic awards include:

  • International Achievement Scholarship – up to £9,000

  • Early Bird Tuition Fee Discount (£500)

London Interdisciplinary School

The BASc Future Leaders Scholarship offers a 50 percent tuition fee discount.

London Metropolitan University

The EU Bright Futures Scholarship covers £12,465, automatically awarded to eligible EU students.

London School of Economics (LSE)

LSE offers some of the most competitive undergraduate funding in the UK:

  • Undergraduate Support Scheme – up to £25,000

  • LSE Mauritius Scholarship – up to £75,816

London South Bank University

Automatic awards include:

  • International Merit Award – up to £6,000

  • European Impact Scholarship – up to £15,000

Loughborough University

Newcastle University

A major scholarship provider with:

Northumbria University
